Sparkly Experiment

The other day I saw this super fun "Sparkly Experiment" on pinterest and just knew that my girlies would love it. So we gathered our materials.

Vinegar, baking soda, glitter, food coloring, vase, measuring cups, and pan to catch our mess!

The girls both loved adding the ingredients. We added the baking soda, glitter, and food coloring.

Then you add the vinegar quickly!

And watch it explode!

We also added other ingredients to see if it would have the same reaction. Here is Finley adding water.

Rowynn added salt and pumpkin pie spice. We noticed that nothing happened. That you had to add vinegar to the baking soda to get the reaction.

We did this over and over and over and over! Big hit!

We wrote down the instructions and recorded our observations.
