Emerson's Shower

A couple of weeks ago some sweet friends blessed us with a baby shower to help us get ready for our sweet boy. Most people don't have a shower for their third child, so the fact that my friends went above and beyond to do this for us was truly humbling and we were so very thankful! We have been blessed with two sweet girls and we are excited to welcome a sweet boy to our family! I just can't wait to meet this active little one...I've known and loved him for the past 37 weeks and I'm just ready to meet him!! And speaking of active, this little guy moves non-stop. I mean, way more than the girls ever did. Kyle & I will just sit and watch my stomach move, bounce, and ripple. We can even tell when it's a elbow or foot. How crazy cool is that?!?!?

So anyway, back to our shower. It was a woodland theme, similar to his nursery. Everyone brought a book in place of a card, how neat! The gals did a super job!

The yummy sweets table; cupcakes, cookies, and make your own trail mix to take home! I completely forgot to get a picture of the main food, but it was super yummy! French toast casserole, egg casserole, sausage balls, fruit/yogurt/granola parfaits in cute mason jars, fruit and veggie trays, and drinks.

We feel so blessed by all our wonderful friends. Emerson got all kinds of wonderful gifts from our friends who attended; clothes, diapers, bath stuff, adorable hooded towels and wash cloths, rattles and small toys, precious books, gift cards, car seat toy, car seat canopy, activity mat, sweet pjs, shoes, and tons of other precious gifts! I forgot to get a picture of the hostess and guests, but we all had a super fun time! We were also blessed with a ton of cute gifts before and after the shower from our sweet loved ones who couldn't attend. A swing, more clothes, a monogrammed lovie and cute socks, pacis, and a sweet plaque.
